Meditation—why escape all the turbulence, stress, fun and craziness of everyday life?  We dive into our silence together and find the power silence has to feed your body, mind and spirit.  I share with you how I embraced silence to achieve personal goals, welcome in changes in my life, and to heal the pain. I share with you the benefits, the mechanics of meditation, and the obstacles the mind creates during meditation.

Then effortlessly, I lead you into a meditation with music by Jupiter Sunrise and share with you a brief snippet from my interview with Mallek Houlihan and his new music from his soon to be released album. During our conversation, Mallek shares with us the power of using music as a tool to help you embrace your silence and commune with others.

I conclude the show by leading you through a meditation with music by Steve Halpern we sink into the silence with the mantra and his music, “Om Namah Shivayah” which is another meditation technique that you can utilize on a daily basis.  Then close the show with a call of action and leave you with a few tools to utilize until next week when we discuss the masculine and the feminine.

During this show, I share with you how I dove into the trenches of pain and suffering.   As I divulge my story of surrendering, you learn how to take the first leap to let go of all the accumulated baggage you carry.

Until you begin surrendering, and release the suffering you display as your badge of honor, you prevent yourself from truly healing and transforming within yourself.  During our discourse, I help you discover how to navigate through the pain and suffering from your past and identify the pain you are still clinging too.

I conclude the show by leading you through a guided meditation which provides you with a different understanding of the pain you have buried inside of you and I assist you letting it go. I finish the show with a call of action and leave you with a few tools to utilize until next week when we discuss the power of silence.

Gratitude…. Today we continue to explore gratitude. First, I share with you a song produced by Steve Halpern—Om Namah Shivaya. I use this music to establish a foundation within my show for gratitude and possibility.  After we connect with each other with this mantra, we jump into a conversation with my children, Kesic and Cadre Schafer.

They share with all of you what they are grateful for and I will ask you during the time you are listening in to stop and think about what you are grateful for and to start to identify what you need in your life from a material, emotional, spiritual and physical vantage. As you identify these needs you will establish the foundation you will need to keep yourself balanced and focused on truly what you need.

I hope to inspire you by sharing a brief glimpse of the Philippine culture I have found so endearing during my recent trip there. I use the inspiration they feed me with to remind all of you how important it is to be grateful, gracious and in service to others.
