Take action and do your part to be a responsible giver in Haiti. It is easy to assume that your dollars are being sent to those in need or being used to purchase and deliver resources that are needed. Before you quickly give your money take the time to investigate and determine the organization you are giving to actually delivering the resources and providing you with a feedback loop. If you are one of the organizations in delivering aide in Haiti, make the effort to team up with other non-profits to maximize your efforts. In these situations, we forget need to come together as a community and create a strategic plan for disaster relief.
